Abstract Art & Music
Since instrumental music is a great source of inspiration to me, I explored a close connection between abstract art and instrumental music: both have no limitations. Unlike all sorts of music with lyrics, instrumental music does not restrict you to think about a specific theme. When you listen to a song about love, you tend to think about love as the lyrics would lead you to think about it. When you observe a landscape painting you would think about nature.

However, when you hear a symphony you would probably think about different things each time you listen to it based on your state of mind. There is no limitation as there are no lyrics to guide you.
An abstract painting is like a music without lyrics; no guidance and no limitation to your thinking or feelings. Like instrumental music, abstract art bypasses logic and dissolves the borders of medium, offering a full-body experience of emotion, memory, and sensation. And this is what I love about abstract art!
